What setting should I start using my Bale Pro® on?

We recommend first time users to start with the aggression set to "3", if you have a feed chopper on the unit you should start with the aggression set to "2".

For the feed rollers start with the discharge side roller set to the middle notch and the opposite at its highest position (on BP8000, BP8100 and CFR650)

What do I check for if I break shear bolts?

Shut down tractor, then check to make sure there is no obstruction in the tub

Remember to cut twine on a regular basis to avoid a large build up of twine on drum.

Engage PTO at slowest tractor speed

How do I avoid plugging the Bale Pro® with the Feed Chopper™ engaged?

In conditions with snow build up or wet / frozen bales, make certain to engage PTO prior to dropping bale inside tub.

Why would my Bale Pro® begin to vibrate?

It is possible that a flail or knife was damaged or is missing.

Shut down the tractor and Bale Pro®, check for broken and/or missing knives, flails, bushings and bolts on the flail drum and the feed chopper.
